You’re not alone, more than 70 million Americans have sleep trouble, including sleep apnea, but many don’t need to struggle through it. Portage Health’s Sleep Disorder Center is here to help, and the ApneaLink™ is the first step.
ApneaLink™ is a screening device that you can take home and use in the comfort of your own home. It can help identify risk factors for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). If certain risk factors appear, you may want to have a sleep test at our Sleep Disorders Center.
Ask your primary care provider about the device. After being trained on how to use it, you will be able to take the “little blue box” home and use it to analyze your patterns.
All your results will be examined by a sleep professional, and made available to you.
Our sleep experts will make an individualized plan for you that could include slight modifications to the way you sleep, an in-house sleep study or medication options. Learn more about the Portage Health Sleep Disorders Center.
