Occupational therapy helps individuals achieve their highest level of independence in the areas of self-care, work, school, leisure, play and sports activities.
If an you have an injury, impairment or limitation that prevents you from fully participating in one of these “occupations,” occupational therapy can assist you in developing the skills necessary to be as independent as possible.
Achieving full independence might include use of adaptive equipment or modification of the environment or the activity.
Occupational therapy provides treatment to all age groups, from infants to the elderly.
