Our local newspaper, The Daily Mining Gazette, runs classified ads in its print and online editions for houses, apartments and other types of homes that are for rent and for sale.
The Keweenaw Multiple Listing Service is a comprehensive online database of real estate available in the Upper Peninsula, searchable by location, property type and price range.
A commonly used resource, the Michigan Tech USG off-campus housing directory lists apartments, duplexes and houses for rent in our area.

Planning a trip to Portage Health? Here’s how to get to our main campus, located at 500 Campus Dr., Hancock MI 49930.
Driving
We are located on Campus Drive in Hancock, just west of U.S. 41.
From U.S. 41 North: Take U.S. 41 North to Campus Drive, located near the Quincy Mine & Hoist. Turn left onto Campus Drive and go ½ mile. Turn left at the Portage Health sign and follow the driveway into our parking lot for patients and visitors.
From U.S. 41 South: Take US-41 South to Campus Drive, located near the Quincy Mine & Hoist. Turn right onto Campus Drive and go ½ mile. Turn left at the Portage Health sign and follow the driveway into our parking lot for patients and visitors.
