Portage Health offers CPR and first aid courses for health professionals and non-professionals. Please find the class and day that is appropriate for you.

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED Training

This course is designed for anyone who has a duty to respond to an emergency, such as police, teachers, daycare providers and industry, as well as laypersons who would like to learn more skills to help loved ones in an emergency situation. Two year certification is given after successful completion of course.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

This course is intended for healthcare providers who do not have a current certification, such as EMS Personnel, first responders, nurses, dentists, respiratory therapists, and anyone else who would like to learn a higher level of skill. You will learn adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Two year certification is given after successful completion of the course.
