    Annual Health & Safety Fair

    The 2014 Health & Safety Fair is scheduled for June 7, 2014.

    This year's fair includes: 

    • Free screenings: Total cholesterol, blood glucose, hemoglobin, done density, hearing, heart rate, pulse oximetry, spirometry, body fat percentage, vision
    • Tons of giveaways
    • Chair massage
    • Healthy food samples
    • Raffle for adult mountain bike or youth mountain bike
    • Youth tent dedicated to activities and programs for youth
    • Fire safety (smoke house)
    • Teddy bear boo boo clinic
    • Obstacle course for kids and adults
    • Cancer Survivor Day
    • Appearances by Blizzard T. Husky and Riku the Lion
    • Car seat clinic from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
    • 100 youth bike helmets, professional fitting
    • Keweenaw County Sherriff providing gun locks
    • Kids’ fingerprinting
    • Expired medication drop off 
    • Outside agencies: U.P. Regional Blood Center, Downwind Sports, Cross Country Sports, MTU Little Husk-ies, BHK Child Development Board, Great Start Collaborative, Hancock City Police and more!

    All activities are free.

    Some screenings may be limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
